The aims of the competition are:
- Encouraging activities for improvement of fine art and creativity of children and youth
- Presentation of the results achieved in the implementation of programs of teaching art in preschool, primary and secondary school
- encouraging the use of a variety of art techniques as artistic expressions that include drawing, painting, graphics, sculpture, applied arts and other contemporary forms of expression
Requirements:
- Children and young people aged 5-25 from Serbia and abroad can take part in the competition including individuals, preschools, schools, art studios, children's cultural centers and similar children's institutions and associations
-Selection of topics and techniques is free
- Every school and institution can send up to 50 works of art;
- An author cannot participate in the contest with more than 2 works of art whether applying individually or through institutions;
- Each work of art must be indicated by a label defined by the competition; otherwise it will not be taken into consideration.
- Stickers can be downloaded from the website of the Cultural Centre ( www.kulcentar.com ) or found in the institution itself Sterijina Street 62, Vrsac .
- Artworks shall be returned to owners until the end of October 2016. Each contest participant shall bear the cost of sending and returning the works. After that date Cultural Centre has no obligation to preserve the works.
- The exhibition will be opened on 30 th September 2016.
The choice of works and rewarding by the Commission, which will work in the following composition:
- Doc.dr Tanja Nedimović, psychologists, President of the Commission
-Vesna Stankov, ethnologist, member of the Commission
- Dragan Spasic sculptor, a member of the Commission
- Tomislav Suhecki, master of art, painter, a member of the Commission
-Vidosava Mojsin Rauški, art teacher, a member of the Commission
-Sara Tanasković, graduate photographer, a member of the Commission
- Marinel Cuculj, designer, a member of the Commission
Jury selection will be at the 03 th - 04 th Jun 2016.
The results of the competition will be published on www.kulcentar.com and in the media too
The award is given to five different age groups:
• Participants aged 5-6 (born year 2010-2011)
• Participants aged 7-10 (born year 2006-2009)
• Participants aged 11-14 (born year 2002- 2005)
• Participants aged 15-18 (born year 2001-1998)
• Participants aged 19-25 (born year 1991 -1997 )
ARTWORKS CAN BE SENT UNTIL 11th MAY 2016.
Artworks will be accepted at the premises of the Cultural center Vršac from 10-14 o clock every working day, address Kulturni centar Vršac, Sterijina 62, Vrsac, Srbija
